History
The 1936 cultural Map of Jefferson County does not have a fire tower at the Five Points site, which suggests that the tower did not exist in 1936.
Personal pictures and visits
My brother and I drove to this site in June 2024. We were able to find the footers. The CAMP survey mark has a modern vertical marker which makes it easy to find, and the old tower site is right there.
